Dynamical analysis of elastically supported elastic structures under the action of moving distributed masses. The elastic structures are beams (such as Rayleigh beams and simply supported beams, e.g. bridges) and plates (such as non-mindlin rectangualr plates and cantilever plates).

Current profession

Current professional activities type:
Administration
1) I have been the Departmental Post Graduate Coordinator (Nov, 2016 - Date). Part of my duties include, counselling the post graduate students on their proposed research areas and courses that should be offered, organizing seminars, computing their results as well as teach courses they offer in my research field. In addition, my team made innovations in the PG program by introducing Milestones; a framework to guide PG students. The primary goal being for the student to produce, with the guidance of his / her supervisor and supervisory board, and with an appropriate level of independent contribution by himself / herself, a large body of original work which merits the award of the MSc or PhD degree, and at least some of which is of sufficient interest to merit publication in a suitable journal. 2) I have been a member of the Curriculum committee in the Department (for both Undergraduate and Post graduate studies, Jan, 2014 - Date). With other members of the committee, we review the curricula to suit and meet the standards required by the Nigerian Universities Commission, so that at graduation, the students would have learned enough to make them at par with their contemporaries in the Civil Universities. 3) • As the Chairman of the Departmental Seminar Committee (Nov, 2016 - Date) - my team has made improvement in Seminars. We organize weekly Seminars for Staff and this provides avenue for Academic interaction among Staff in the Department.
