My laboratory studies the molecular mechanisms of chemical carcinogenesis, with the long-term goal of identifying molecular targets for prevention and therapeutic intervention of breast cancer. Also, we are investigating the role of a group of environmental chemicals that mimics hormones (i.e., endrocrine disruptors) and their possible contribution to the incidence in breast cancer in pre-menopausal women.
