Determine the proliferative potential of T cells induced or boosted by the MVA85A vaccine. The ability to proliferate rapidly to large numbers of effector cells is a function of T cells that is a major aim of vaccination. The proliferative potential of Ag85A-specific CD4 and CD8 T cells will be determined in adults, adolescents and children before, and up to 12 months after MVA85A vaccination.
