DOSE VOLUME HISTOGRAM (DVH) ANALYSIS OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF HEAD AND NECK CASES. DVH analysis is very important for treatment planning before giving treatment delivery to cancer patients. The purposes of this study are to evaluate a plan with optimum quality by analyzing DVH using ICRU report 50 & 62 and RTOG dose constrains. 10 head and neck patients are selected for this research work. Fast have to take CT image then converted to DRR image. Image sent to oncologists for volume dealation. After contouring image, it sent to TPS system for planning. Take several plans for each patient case, then optimum plan is selecting by analyzing DVH statistics for target volume and different OARs. All patients target volume coverage dose is within +7% and -5% and OARs get the tolerances doses. If using update techniques then can verify more accurate DVH that give more required treatment plan.
