My PhD research focuses on studying stochastic sampling algorithms based on Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods, swarm intelligence concepts, evolutionary algorithms and machine learning and their application in history matching and uncertainty quantification in the oil industry at Institute of Petroleum Engineering, Heriot-Watt University, UK.
