Objective of research is to assess the impact of the structural adjustment programme and the privatization of Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines Ltd. (ZCCM). The introduction of privatization of ZCCM has resulted in job losses. The community and other services that benefitted local businesses have also been drastically reduced.
