Current research interests are study of genetic markers that might be responsible for the susceptibility of Pakistani population towards common metabolic disorders like metabolic syndrome, NAFLD and obesity. In this regards I intend to develop a fully equipped genomics research laboratory to conduct genetic association studies for complex diseases.
