Characterization and virulence mechanisms of Trichomonas vaginalis proteins. Evaluation of immune response to T. vaginalis infection in order to identify and isolate the proteins that could be used to stimulate specific protective immunity when administered in rabbits; demonstration of immune reaction by intravaginal challenge infection with live T. vaginalis organisms in immunized rabbits.
