Use of deuterated water in biologicals; Vaccines - D2O can be used to extend the shelf-life of vaccines-bacterial and viral as a thermostabilizer, which is very useful in places where cold chain breaks are frequent; Possible use of D2O and its action at molecular level on vaccine-bacteria and viruses. This is a ICAR, Govt. of India sponsored project with prospects for manufacturing on large scale, i.e. a lab-to-land oriented project; Study on the rabies virus- field as well as vaccine strain.Affiliations
