Research focuses on the production of some Radio Isotopes using the 30 kW Miniature Neutron Syrian Research Reactor for medical applications. In the past 2 years, papers have been delivered at international, and national journals and at regional meetings. A collaborative research project started with the AECS and the NIRS dealing with MCNP and EGS codes calculations for dose estimations including medical and occupational exposures. This is a project that could inspire graduates to pursue their higher education.
