Marine biology - Exploration and documentation of marine biodiversity of the region. Sorting, storing and documentation of local marine organisms. Cataloging the selected samples and automation of data. This database will be utilized through the Expert-Center for Taxonomic Identification, Amsterdam University. International collaboration, linkage will be developed for the following activites - identification of local species, exchange of material as loan or donation, training and research facilities made availbale to local and foreign scientists; Artemia culture in laboratory and coastal saltpans; Laboratory rearing.
