My Ph.D. project is being developed in collaboration with different institutions in Mexico and Colombia for proposing ecotechnological solutions (implementation or restoration of wetlands and buffer strips) to improve the water management in two different watersheds in the State of Chiapas, Mexico (Rio Grande-Lagos de Montebello) and the Cauca Department, Colombia (Río Piedras, Popayán) based on the assessment of the ecosystem services and land-use change scenarios.
