Investigation of the optical and electrical proprieties of the thin films of an organic compound deposited by plasma polymerization technique. The thin films of organic polymer are prepared by plasma polymerization techniques. The structural, optical and electrical proprieties of the as-deposited and heat-treated plasma polymerized thin films will then be investigated. The compositional information, identification of functional groups and surface morphology of as depostied and modified plasma polymerized thin films will be studied. Thermal decomposition and stability of these thin films will also be investigated. Finally, the finding from the structural, optical and electrical studies will be analyzed to correlate them to understand the fundamental behavior of the materials.
