Dr Agboola has an on-going research on the least-cost formulation rations for commercial turkey. She intends to augment existing database of true metabolisable energy in selected energy feed ingredients (maize, sorghum, wheat and acha) used in turkey diets. She also intends to estimate the efficiency of utilisation of the energy retained in these feedstuffs for commercial turkeys.

Dr Agboola is a dedicated teacher. She communicates with her students effectively and she is professional in her approach to teaching. She is particularly enthusiastic about guiding and counselling students. Her research focus is on improvement of agro-industrial by-products and crop residues and harnessing such into livestock feeding for increased productivity thereby solving the challenges of food scarcity and poverty of smallholder farmers, particularly women. Her main objective is to help the rural farmers which are mostly women find solution to their production challenges thereby promoting animal protein availability for Sub-Saharan Africa and Nigeria in particular. In summary, she believes in contributing to the socio-economic development of her country and region by strengthening her Faculty in the University through pursuance of relevant research to address national livestock policy issues. She is particularly enthusiastic about mentoring students especially girls and teaching them morals that can help build them up in character and learning. In her community, she participates in youth development programs, teaching them on sex education, norms and values of life. Her commitment to entrepreneurialism and innovation is demonstrated in the passion she has for the youths whom she believes are energetic and full of potentials that can be explored if properly harnessed.
