Currently researching in the field of pollinator health and nutrition. Present research focus is : Ecological, behavioural and biochemical traits of African meliponine bees in a biodiverse hotspot of Kenya. This study aims to identify meliponine bee species in Taita hills of Kenya and further understand their behavioural traits essential for pollination (foraging ) such as recognition and recruitment behaviours. This will confirm their potential as alternative pollinators to the Honey bee (Apis mellifera).
