Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for Women in Science supports women from developing countries with their PhD and postdoctoral studies. I have been a beneficiary; their financial support propelled me to complete my research studies, and to focus on issues of concern to my country- Ghana.

Protecting marine life: Environmentally sound management of plastic wastes in Ghana The National Geographic Society is supporting an environmental education programme that focuses on educating inhabitants of coastal areas (and immediate neighbouring areas) of the importance of separation of plastic wastes from other wastes at the source point, rather than the end point.

Grant was awarded to support research that focuses on the toxic effects of persistent organic pollutants in vulnerable population- firefighters in Ghana.

Grant was awarded to support mobility of early career researchers to pursue collaborations in the United Kingdom, and further support purchases of laboratory equipment.
