I´m Associate Professor of Virology at the Universidad de la República, Uruguay. My research interests are the study of emerging and zoonotic viruses, as arboviruses, rodent and bat-borne viruses. I´m involved in graduate and postgraduate teaching. I am part of the scientific comitee of the biology area at the postgraduate program in basic sciences (PEDECIBA) and member of the national system of researchers (SNI in Spanish).
