• Provide technical support and laboratory quality assurance for research studies at the institute. • Organize and coordinate training for laboratory staff and students. • Conduct Next-Generation Sequencing for SARs-Cov-2 and other biological organisms of interest. • Support laboratory experiments for research studies i.e., nucleic acid isolation, PCR, Next-generation sequencing, PBMC isolation, ELISA, slide staining and examination, and Light and fluorescent microscopy. • Develop laboratory standard operating procedures and ensure adaptation and implementation. • Ensure the daily maintenance of the Laboratories and periodic maintenance of laboratory equipment. • Responsible for laboratory waste management at the institute. • Have oversight of laboratory activities. • Temperature monitoring of storage equipment i.e., Refrigerators, Ultra-low freezers.
