Biological Systems and Organisms

Schistosomiasis is a communicable parasitic disease linked to poverty in agricultural communities, with Nigeria having the highest burden of disease. This study will identify disease-endemic foci that could serve as reservoirs of infection and jeopardise the national/global elimination goals; generate information for resource allocation and for updating the epidemiological data.
