Currently, works as an associate professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Department of Organic Chemistry, as a permanent professor and vice-coordinator of the Graduate Program in Chemistry at IQ / UFRJ. Lecturer in the Professional Master's Program in Chemistry in the National Network (PROFIQUI). Coordinates the Laboratory of Organic Synthesis and Biological Prospecting-LaSOPB and is currently treasurer of this regional chemistry society (2020-2022). Has experience in the area of Chemistry, with emphasis on Synthesis Organic, acting mainly on the following themes: heterocycles, carbohydrates, nucleosides and naphthoquinones, search for biologically active compounds. Ambassador of the Parent in Science project at UFRJ. Mother of two girls, one born in December 2010 and the other in September 2018.
