Current professional activities type:ResearchDirector of the Center for Environmental Studies and Biodiversity at Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, in charge of seeking for funding and directing research projects mostly related to climate change, monitoring of forest dynamics, carbon content in ecosystems, monitoring biodiversity and water resources management. Also a researcher in some of these projects. Coordinator of the team in charge of ellaborating the Third National Communication on Climate Change and the First Biennal Report to present to the UNFCCC, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (MARN).
