Rice is the most important crop of the world and Soil salinity is a serious environmental stress and limiting yields. Conventional breeding methods need to be combined with recent achievements of rice biotechnology and to develop variety with salinity. Rice transformation through particle bombardment with minimal linear gene cassette have been developed and more prefer for monocot plant. But I have one limitation, the efficiency of getting stable transformation had been low. Hence the production of transgenic plant depend on the availability of optimized physical and biological parameters for DNA delivery and development of a reproducible regeneration protocol. In this study will be enhanced a procedure to develop transgenic rice plant and defined parameters protocol to recover transformed embryogenic callus and transgenic plant by using biochemical molecular methods of particle bombardment gene transformation.
