I am interested in the areas of Ecology and Zoology, with an emphasis on ecology of anuran communities. I have a special interest in identifying taxonomic, functional, and phylogenetic biodiversity patterns.

I'm interested in testing the influences of deterministic and stochastic processes that form and change biological communities. To do so I explore spatial environmental patterns in the South Brazilian grasslands, using anuran amphibians as a model study group.
