I worked on decoding the mobile genetic element derived carbapenem resistance mechanisms in Gram negative bacteria as my thesis work of MS.
Publications resulting from Research:
1. Occurrence of intI1-associated VIM-5 carbapenemase and co-existence of all four classes of β-lactamase in carbapenem-resistant clinical Pseudomonas aeruginosa DMC-27b (PMID: 31647552) - from my previous research area.
Current profession
Current professional activities type:ResearchCurrently i am working at icddr,b on a project named Child Health and Mortality Prevention Surveillance (CHAMPS) to solve the under 5 child mortality problem in Bangladesh. In this project i am focusing on the antibiotic resistance pattern of the bacteria that are detected from the post mortem specimen of dead children under 5 and stillbirths.
