Fabricated blue, green, red, white PHOLEDs and HyLEDs based on homoleptic and heteroleptic Ir(III) complexes with high efficiency, stability, colour purity, etc. Further, developed blue and green FOLEDs with reduced operating voltage, while improved brightness and efficiency. Our device efficiencies are comparable with existing OLEDs and stepped into commercialization.

Current profession
Current professional activities type:TeachingIn appreciation of the contributions made by the research group under my leadership on the new area of OLEDs, have led a pathway to generate research funds from various national agencies such as UGC, CSIR, DRDO, DST, DST-SERB and DST-Nanomission and developed “MATERIALS SCIENCE LAB” in Department of Chemistry, Annamalai University. Subsequently, instrumental facilities like spectrofluorimeter (solution/film), UV spectrometer (solution/film), Horiba Fluorocube-01-NL lifetime system, Glove box and Vacuum thermal coating unit, Digital thickness monitor, Keithaley-2450 sourcemeter, USB-650-VIS-NIR spectrometer Ocean Opitics, Work station, Inc, USA, F-7100 FL Fluorescence schlenk line set- up and rotavapours have been brought in my “MATERIALS SCIENCE LAB”. Our MATERIALS SCIENCE LAB is extending the instrumental facilities for campus and external users.
