Current profession

Current professional activities type:
Research
Dr. Jiménez-Córdova is a researcher in the field of environmental toxicology. Her work focuses on the environmental and biological monitoring of inorganic contaminants, including fluoride, arsenic, and other potentially toxic elements. Additionally, she evaluates their health effects and the associated mechanisms of toxicity. She is particularly interested in assessing the impact of these contaminants during critical stages of susceptibility, such as childhood and pregnancy. She is also interested in collaborating closely with the government sector and civil society organizations to address environmental health issues in communities.
