Computing and Information Technology

My research centers on the development and application of biometric technologies for secure identity verification, access control, and digital service delivery. I have contributed to large-scale biometric systems, including the Nigeria Identification for Development (ID4D) project with NIMC, the World Bank, and the EU, where I worked on biometric performance, privacy, and architecture design. I am particularly interested in fingerprint-based authentication and its integration into self-service platforms such as ATMs. My ongoing work explores how artificial intelligence can enhance biometric accuracy, fraud detection, and scalability, especially in resource-constrained environments.
