Currently, I am studying drought pattern, its frequency of occurrence and its impact on crop production for the last 30 years in Nepal, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh using remote sensing data sets. I am also building a low-cost meteorological station in my institute. This will be used for validation of satellite data sets. Besides, I am also monitoring air pollution in Kathmandu Valley and its impact on soil and food.
