• Managing and hiring of human resource for Data Collection (Interviewing & Testing) • Conducing trainings on IBBS Round-6 introduction, work strategies and goals • Conducting mapping for spot identification for Key Populations (KP’s) • Validating hotspots of respective Key Population • Conducting IBBS data collectors’ interviews in strict adherence to provided training and established guidelines • Employing probing techniques when required to gather additional information • Ensuring meticulous preparation, including gathering all necessary supplies such as mobile phones, questionnaires, guidelines, rapid test kits, gloves, alcohol swabs, etc. • Organizing consumables for field work testing. • Administering work of data collectors (Interviewing & Testing) • Engagement of HIV positive key population with services delivery centers • Supervising rapid tests of Hepatitis B & C, Syphilis and HIV • Supervising the post-test counseling and confidentially communicating test results • Sending Dried Blood Specimen (DBS) for quality assurance • Supervising the uploading of the test results on Kobo Collect mobile application • Implementing established protocols for the disposal of biological waste • Ensuring strict confidentiality and reassuring the study subjects Performed molecular biology techniques for specimens received by the department and organized workflow to provide optimum efficiency of testing and turnaround time of results. • Extracted automatic or manual DNA/RNA from assorted sample types. • Performed PCR and Genomic Sequencing on Ion Torrent Technology and Oxford Nanopore Technology • Followed biosafety and biosecurity rules and regulations while working in clinical lab. • Evaluated results, determine interference, inhibition or other problems that arise during extraction, amplification and sequencing of DNA. • Performed quality control, validation and other quality activities to verify the performance of clinical assays. • Maintained equipment’s by performing assigned maintenance activities and troubleshooted unexpected problems with equipment’s. • Evaluated inventory of supply, reagents and communicate older needs. • Operated complex computer and equipment programs related to equipment’s and LIS system. • Maintained records of test results and data. • Maintained a neat and clear work environment. • Performed testing to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies. • Assisted department in writing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for clinical assays. • Documented knowledge by reviewing and signing SOPs annually. • Followed lab policies and procedures, such as attendance and time reporting policies. • Following molecular biology assays are were performed, HIV PCR, COVID-19 PCR, CD4 Count Testing, DNA/RNA Extractions, Genome Sequencing following biosafety and biosecurity rules and regulations while working in clinical labs.
