Currently, I have applied to projects aimed to study the presence, incidence, biology, and genomics of T. gondii in a wide variety of substrates with special interest in meat-based food.

Current professional activities type:ResearchTeachingI am lecturer and researcher in the Universidad Regional Autónoma de los Andes. I teach cellular and molecular biology and basic medical biochemistry in the school of Medicine, Faculty of Medical Sciences. I also work as a researcher. Here, I have created a research group aimed to study protozoan parasites with special interest in those causing infections.
