My research interests are mainly on the following topics: Ecosystem structure, functioning, and services; land-use change and ecosystem functioning; nitrogen cycling and use in tropical terrestrial ecosystems; the use of stable isotopes on ecological studies; plant physiological and evolutionary ecology in a global change scenario.

Teaching

I am an Assistant Professor at the Federal University of Pará – UFPA, where I teach Ecology and Botany subjects for undergrad and graduate students. I also develop research regarding Amazonian ecosystem functioning and coordinate an extension project to improve Botany teaching in high school.
