My current research focuses on computer-aided drug discovery involving applying chemogenomic techniques to discover and develop alternative drugs and their targets for treatment of infectious diseases like malaria, tuberculosis, neglected tropical diseases and cancer. The identified bioactive molecules and the targets are validated through biological and biophysical methods. This also involves determining targets for phenotypic hits deposited in public domain.
