Effect of Rapid Population Growth on Environment and Human Health in Nakuru Metropolitan Area, Kenya. Nakuru town has been described as the fastest growing city in sub-Saharan Africa and this is evident from the 2009 population census. I intend to use remote sensing and GIS integration to map land use/cover change with population census tract data to see whether there is any significant change and how it impacts on some aspects of health determinants.
