To establish a mutation catalog using various virulence genes in resistant ans susceptible sequences for identification of lineage specific mutations in South Africa. To develop and expand a web-based program for identification of Mycobacterium tuberculosis lineages genome sequences data and /or raw Illumina reads.
Publications resulting from Research:
We expect to publish the results of the project in at least two articles in peer-reviewed international journals. Presenting research project results in local and international conferences. Attending workshops related to my research project local and international.
