Nutrition: study the nutritional needs of cattle at different stages of life. They develop new feed formulations and feeding strategies to improve cattle health and productivity. Reproduction: study the reproductive biology of cattle to improve breeding efficiency. They develop new techniques for artificial insemination and embryo transfer. Health: study the diseases that affect cattle and develop new diagnostic tools and treatments. They also work to improve cattle management practices to prevent disease outbreaks. Welfare: study the welfare of cattle and develop new methods to improve their overall well-being. They also work to promote humane cattle handling practices.
