After chronic and subchronic toxicity study of the plant, 25 sexually healthy rats and 25 hypogonadic rats will receive increasing doses of the extract for 28 days for the study of direct androgenic and curative activity respectively. Biochemical analyses (blood, epididymis and testicular protein and cholesterol, vesicular fructose), sperm count and motility will also be assessed.
