Biological Systems and Organisms
Survey of Parasites on Smartphones and Sachet water in Lagos, Nigeria. Smartphones are being swapped and Sachet water are being collected from different parts of Lagos and examined macroscopically and microscopically for the presence of protozoan cyst and helminthes eggs. Unlike microbes (Bacteria, fungi and Viruses), studies on the potential contamination of phones and sachet water with parasitic organisms have not been given the interest it deserves.

Current profession
Current professional activities type:ResearchTeachingAs a Zoologist, specialized in the area of Parasitology, I have focused on parasitic animals of Medical and Veterinary importance with special interest on Malaria and Onchocerciasis. Of interest to me are the effects on women. Parasitology as a research area, embarked on since my undergraduate speaks for itself. The findings from these researches have been presented at national and international conferences and seminars.
