Purification and characterization of carbohydrate-specific lectins from different species of mushroom. Purification is by ion-exchange chromatography and gel-filtration/ Characterization of the lectins include effect of temperature, pH and cations, sub-unit and native molecular weight determination by SDS-PAGE and gel filtration.
