Biological Systems and Organisms

I am currently investigating the modulatory effect of medicinal plants on the genetic, molecular and signaling pathways involved in chronic diseases such as liver fibrosis/cirrhosis, benign prostatic hyperplasia and cancer. I also intend to isolate the bioactive components of these plants. In addition, I will also investigate the acute and sub chronic toxicity of these plants in order to evaluate their safety.
