 Since 1996, Prof. Rajaa Cherkaoui El Moursli is a Member of the International Collaboration ATLAS (174 institutions in 38 countries). ATLAS (A Toroidal LHC ApparatuS) is one of the experiments equipping the collision points at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN-Geneva started by the end of the year 2009.  Prof. Cherkaoui has developed research in Medical Physics in Morocco by the implementation of the first Master of medical physics (2007-2009). This has allowed providing new hospitals radiation physicists, which has followed the national strategy in this area, in particular, the creation of a number of services nuclear medicine and radiotherapy throughout Morocco. Currently, an important team is working in Simulation and imaging in Medical Physics (Radiotherapy, Radiology and Nuclear Medicine).  Since 2015, Prof Rajaa Cherkaoui El Moursli is also - within the European project H2020 MARSU (2016-2020)- the Moroccan project leader for the creation of an observatory of atmospheric air pollution on the mountains of Michlifen in Morocco.
