Monsoon or rain produced by the monsoonal winds. Any type of major wind system that seasonally reverses its direction, bringing about change in seasons, e.g. one that blows for approximately six months from South-East and six months from North-East; the most prominent of such seasonal winds occur in Southern Asia and Africa.
