During my M.Phil. I have worked on an inflammatory pathway of epilepsy. Although extensive studies has been conducted to identify the root cause of epileptogenesis but still novel targets are required. Moreover, besides the development of diverse antiepileptic drugs still epilepsy remains a major challenge and patients develop resistance towards existing treatments.
