My main focus has been in breeding and promoting the production of stress tolerant maize. In addition I have worked on assessing bio-fortified maize as well as improved seed systems.I have also done work in promotion of small grain field crops in communal areas. I have a deep passion for work in sustainable intensification . In all the research work my main main is to "Put the farmer first" so as to enhance adoption and hence sustainable development.
