Administration: I am on charge of a team of 25 people, nine laboratories: the molecular biology laboratory, clinical laboratory applied microbiology laboratory, next generation sequencing laboratory, newborn screening laboratory, culture media laboratory, laboratories headquarters from Jutiapa, Coban, and Peten and two teaching laboratories of the biological area. I implement new analytical techniques, I develop annual strategic planning, I do market analysis to increase sales of laboratory tests, and assure the quality of results from our laboratories. I have implemented an efficient supply chain, centralizing supplies and I have developed a control sheet to have the current existence in real time of More than 1000 supplies and reagents and reduce unnecessary costs and existing products. Teaching: I am the principal professor at the University of: Development, Evaluation of Research Projects and Technological Innovation, Thesis I Course and Clinical Management and Marketing for scientist Research: I am the leader of the research group of Chemical and Biotechnology and, I am promoting research for covid about sequencing the genome. Other: First woman President of the Intersectoral Technical Comission of Biotechnology (CTIB) in SENACYT and Representative of the Technical Committee of Agricultural Biosafety of Guatemala (CTBAG).
