Director, UN Environment Programme-International Ecosystem Management Partnership (UNEP-IEMP), a joint center between the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and UN Environment Programme. The center endeavors to provide science, policy and capacity services to developing countries to integrate ecosystem management approaches into national policies and plans that enhance the delivery of ecosystem services for the wellbeing of humanity. Professor Zhang used to be the Director/deputy director of Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy of CAS. She is now affiliated with the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research of CAS as a senior research fellow and professor. She is also a member of Expert Advisory Committee of the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development of China.
