Mathematical sciences

Investigating new information technology in teaching mathematics at primary and secondary levels in Nigeria, focusing on whether it does affect methodology, cater for individual differences, improve enrollment and achievment of girls. Girls' improved performance in mathematics enhances their participation in science and technology courses. This will increase the chances of women to work in IT at the level of computer programmes, hence bridging the digital divide. Application of IT in math teaching produces positive attitude among girls, enhancing enrollment and achievement.
