Agricultural Sciences
Creation of SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT models using alternative crops for agroforestry systems including native plants of multiple uses, to restore degraded areas as well as diversification of the economy. Agave, Aloe, Prosopis, and Caesalpinia trees, are very resistant to drought with multiple uses in arid lands. The pods are source of protein and many other by products.
