Anthropogenic activities in local water and their implication on the fisheries resources of Nigeria. The study is designed to identify contaminants(heavy metals, microbiological both biodegradable and non degradable) within the water bodies and their impact on the diversity and the wellbeing of the fisheries resources in some of the water bodies within the municipals of Western Nigeria. Oreochromis niloticus is selected as a biomarker.
