Mathematics Education. The study seeks to explore undergraduate mathematics students’ understanding of matrix algebra concepts. I intend to use APOS (Action-Process-Object-Schema) theory to explore the different levels of mental constructions undergraduate mathematics students will be operating on when they are learning matrix algebra concepts.
