Jul 2015Award of Grant for Ph. D research ProjectTitle of Research Project Derivative Free methods involving free parameters for solving nonlinear equations” In this project, a general overview of the numerical analysis along with basic terminologies is discussed at first then a brief description in the development of various categories of multipoint root solvers are discussed. The natural question here is not only to find the solution of nonlinear equations but solution in a very fast, efficient and reliable way which is very close to actual solution, so a general procedure to develop some four-parametric with-memory methods to find simple roots of nonlinear equations is proposed. It is worth mentioning that tri-parametric method existed up till now in the history, so it is regarded as first four parametric method. Four self-accelerating parameters have been introduced to boost up the convergence order and computational efficiency of the proposed methods without using any additional function evaluations. Numerical examples are presented to support the theoretical results of the methods. We further investigate the dynamics of the methods in the real and complex planes.Aug 2015Award of travelling grant from Nagional Mathematical Society of PakistanPartial funding to attend International Congress on Industrial & Applied Mathematics (ICIAM), August 10-14, 2015, Beijing, China.Aug 2014Travel Grant ICM 2014 from Korean Mathematical SocietyTravelling Grant to attend International Congress of Mathematics ICM 2014
